Free Presbyterian Missions
As a church serving under the Lordship of Christ the Great Commission is our solemn duty and glorious privilege. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15) The Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster Mission Board was created by Presbytery in March 1974 to oversee the selection, commissioning, and support of the denomination’s missionaries.
Our desire is to have Christ preached to all people in all nations unto the establishing of biblically ordered churches. We have missionaries serving across the world who are committed to this end.
Biblical Answers to Life’s Big Questions
There are many interesting questions we might ask concerning life, faith, religion and eternity. Many people have opinions and theories about such questions, but it is God that can show us the answers through His Holy and infallible Word, the Holy Bible.
Let the Bible Speak Broadcast Ministry
Let the Bible Speak is the worldwide radio broadcast ministry of the Free Presbyterian Church. It was founded in 1973 out of a clear vision of reaching a lost world with the gospel. LTBS radio programmes are now heard on many stations in the UK, Irish Republic, N.America, India, Africa, Nepal, Iran and Afghanistan. Though international in its scope, some Free Presbyterian congregations sponsor weekly LTBS programmes as a local outreach ministry.
In addition to our radio broadcasts, programmes are also aired on Sky TV and the LTBS magazine is published quarterly.
Consider Christ – Evangelical Outreach
150 years ago, in 1859, four young men were encouraged by their minister to, “Do something more for God.” Concerned that the knowledge of God and His Word was at a low level in the country, and knowing from personal experience that men and women were chasing excitement and yet finding nothing but emptiness, these young men took up the challenge to attempt “something more.”
They commenced a Sunday School, and later started the prayer meeting that ignited a tremendous revival of true religion right across our country. Within a very short time, 100,000 lives were transformed by being brought to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
